Weingut Malat Riesling

Originating from Furth bei Göttweig and bottled under the Kremstal DAC this is a fine example of 100% Riesling from Austria. The grapes are very delicately handled: hand picked and soft pressed and fermented under careful temperature control in stainless steel tanks. Settling is done is very large wooden barrels (4000-6000 litres) which imparts no wooden taste but allows the wine to clarify itself without filtration.

The resulting wine is fresh, crisp and fruit driven; well balanced and very drinkable.
