French Sparkling, France
This classic french crémant is made from grapes from the Yonne, Côte d’Or and Saône et Loire and is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gamay and Aligoté (5%). Bottled in the January after the harvest and aged on lees for 15 to 18 months. This longer ageing is a key factor in quality and gives a more distinctive maturity.
The wine is well-balanced, combining freshness and fruitiness and a full finish. It is a perfect aperitif and goes well with desserts. It is a great companion to salmon canapés.
